Former CSU standout Nico Carvacho joins Ali Farokhmanesh’s staff | Colorado Sunshine
Where good news shines
Colorado State left a light on for Nico Carvacho.
CSU coach Ali Farokhmanesh is hiring Carvacho, the program’s all-time leading rebounder, as a graduate assistant, he said Wednesday. That move elevates Baylor Hebb to director of player of player personnel.
Carvacho returns after an international playing career in Bulgaria, Germany, Poland, Portugal and Israel. He played at Colorado State from 2016-20, collecting 1,292 rebounds across 132 games. He helped CSU to the 2017 NIT and averaged 10.7 points and 9.8 boards in a highly productive career.
“We pride ourselves on having a family atmosphere and culture within our program,” Farokhmanesh said.
Former CSU head manager Parker Teff also was hired as a graduate assistant.
