Wine for the win: Voters’ favorite bars around Colorado Springs
In this weekly feature, we’re celebrating the best of Colorado Springs’ food and drink scene ー as determined by voters in the 2026 Best of the Springs (thebestofthesprings.com). We’ll throw in our own recommendation, too.
Up this week: Wine bars.
Gold: Uva Wine Bar
A local couple opened this snazzy nook on the north side six years ago, realizing a dream after traveling to vineyards across the globe. Their education along the way is showcased on the menu that has featured 200-plus bottles. Along with those, friends and family gather around the food that goes beyond meat and cheese with elevated bites and flatbreads. 1268 Interquest Parkway, No. 160
Silver: Latigo Winery
Wineries are found in unexpected places in Colorado. For example: between the pines of Black Forest, at a lively corner often hosting food trucks and events. Latigo is a kid- and dog-friendly favorite pouring more than locally made vino, including Colorado mead and cider as well. 11425 Black Forest Road, Suite 6
Bronze: Cork & Cask
Whether inside from a velvet seat and made-for-Instagram atmosphere or outside cozied up by a fire pit, Cork & Cask is a perfect spot for date night downtown. The name implies wine and whiskey; the worlds of both are displayed on the soaring wall behind the bar. 60 E. Moreno Ave.
Our recommendation: Wines of Colorado
Next time on your way up or down Ute Pass west of Colorado Springs, don’t skip this roadside restaurant. True to the name, you can get a taste of the state’s wine, notably the vibrant varietals of Palisade. You can also get tasty grub beside a melodious creek and forested hillside. Call for a reservation. 8045 U.S. 24 in Cascade
