Pablo Francisco brings celebrity impressions to Loonees Comedy Corner this weekend

Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan and Aaron Neville walk into a comedy club. No, this isn’t the setup to a joke; it’s basically Pablo Francisco’s act.

If you hear these celebrity voices coming from the stage at Loonees Comedy Corner this weekend, don’t worry, Francisco is still the one holding the microphone.

And hearing “Get to the chopper” in an Austrian accent might just be another part of the show.

Since his debut in the ‘90s, Francisco has made a career out of turning his voice into a comedy toolbox, bouncing between celebrity impressions, sound effects and funny characters.

In past decades, he’s been featured on “Mad TV” and produced comedy specials including “Bits and Pieces” and “Not the Same,” while performing throughout the world.

With his high-energy comedy and all-too-familiar vocal stims, once the comedian has a microphone, suddenly Hollywood’s favorite actors might be guest starring.

And this weekend, he’ll bring that act to Colorado Springs.

For two nights this week, he’ll perform alongside Paul Cardozo at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 1305 N. Academy Blvd.

Tickets range from $27.22 to $38.11. So if you’ve ever wondered what it would sound like if a one-man cast of celebrities took over a comedy club, this might be your chance to find out.
