Three nights, three stars: Ford Amphitheater offers a week of performances

When someone asks, “What kind of music do you like,” does your answer claim you listen to everything?

Well if that’s true, and your playlist jumps from classic rock to bluegrass to contemporary Christian music, this might be your busiest week of the summer.

Three award-winning artists spanning decades and genres are taking over Ford Amphitheater this week, bringing music from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Grammys to Colorado Springs.

Located at 95 Spectrum Loop, the Ford Amphitheater will host three consecutive nights of live music beginning Thursday, when rock icon Sammy Hagar kicks things off at 7 p.m. alongside special guest Rick Springfield.

Best known for his time as the frontman of Van Halen and hits including “I Can’t Drive 55” and “Right Now,” Hagar has spent more than 50 years shaping rock music. Tickets range from $49 to $298.

On Friday night, bluegrass powerhouses Alison Krauss and Union Station, featuring Jerry Douglas, will take the stage at 7:30 p.m., with Theo Lawrence opening.

Since the most recent release of “Arcadia,” the group’s first album together since 2011, the 27-time Grammy winner returns to touring with the band for the first time since 2015. Tickets range from $62 to $215.

The weekend wraps up with Lauren Daigle at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, alongside Gable Price and Friends.

The two-time Grammy winner has become one of contemporary Christian music’s biggest stars, earning more than a billion streams and performing everywhere from the 2025 Super Bowl to Carnegie Hall and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Tickets range from $45 to $306.

Whether concertgoers prefer rock, bluegrass harmonies or chart-topping worship music, Ford Amphitheater’s three-night lineup offers a little something for nearly every music fan.
