These 4 coffee shops are homes away from home in Colorado Springs
In this weekly feature, we’re celebrating the best of Colorado Springs’ food and drink scene ー as determined by voters in the 2026 Best of the Springs (thebestofthesprings.com). We’ll throw in our own recommendation, too.
Up this week: Coffee shops.
Gold: Wayfinder Coffee Co.
Wayfinder sources coffee from around the globe as part of its mission to transport customers who find themselves in a space both cozy and elegant. It’s a perfect space for wine tastings and jazz, which are regularly scheduled. If you’re just grabbing java, you gotta grab a pastry too. 6140 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Suite 150
Silver: Loyal Coffee
Loyal is proudly “barista-built,” with a roastery that aims for “exciting and approachable.” The team trusts you’ll taste the difference in bright, lively cafes downtown and on the north side. Loyalists also munch on specialty toasts. 408 S. Nevada Ave., 11550 Ridgeline Dr.
Bronze: Hold Fast Coffee Co.
The coffee is in demand beyond the cafe and roastery off North Academy Boulevard. While small, Hold Fast has grown a nationwide wholesale list thanks to notes that surprise and delight. Similarly surprising and delightful: Liege waffles on weekends. 2360 Montebello Square Dr., Suite H1
Our recommendation: Jives Coffee Lounge
Jives brings “coffee, music and life” to a comfy corner of Old Colorado City. That’s the motto ー “coffee, music and life.” And the spot delivers all hours of the day, from the cup and friendly face that greet you in the morning, to the talent on the tiny stage that serenades you in the evening. 16 Colbrunn Court
