A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a pickup truck in east Colorado Springs on Sunday, according to law enforcement officials.

The crash took place just before 10 p.m. at the intersection of Dublin and Union boulevards, police said. Investigators determined that the motorcycle was heading north on Union when it hit the pickup, which was heading west on Dublin.

The injured rider was taken to a local hospital, where he later died, police said.

No injuries were reported to the driver of the pickup, and no arrests were announced. Speed is being investigated as a possible factor in the crash.
