Pikes Peak region residents have had several opportunities to mark Veterans Day this year, including Saturday’s annual parade and smaller ceremonies around town.

This is the first year Colorado Springs has hosted a full week of official events in addition to gatherings hosted by individual schools, nonprofits and other groups.
