The Cheesman Canyon parking lot will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday as crews replace public toilets, according to a post on X by the Pike-San Isabel National Forests & Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands page.

The project consists of decommissioning old toilets and installing new ones for visitor use. The parking lot was previously closed for the same project May 6 and 7.

The National Forest Service encourages visitors to plan ahead as parking is limited in the area, and to not park in unauthorized areas.
