So up is down and down is up, wrong is correct, black is white, left is right, the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, the Earth is flat, there is no gravity holding us to the floor or ground, yesterday is actually tomorrow and today happened last week, and 2 + 2 equals 100 million.

These absurdly illogical and irrational phrases illustrate quite specifically what we are being asked to believe by those claiming that the recent presidential election means the end of the US government that was socialism, communism, and tyranny WHICH WE NEVER HAD IN THE FIRST PLACE, OR SECOND PLACE, OR EVER!

The whining/complaining, mostly white males, who believe they have somehow lost their freedoms is sadly pathetic. Just because they accept that for themselves does not make it true! What have they actually lost? Who has ever enslaved them? Who has ever arrested them for the color of their skin? Who has ever called them a hateful, nasty name because of their nation of origin? Who has ever not employed any of them because of their sexual orientation or the color of their skin? Who has kept them from speaking and writing whatever it is they wish? The answer to every question is NO ONE!

They have the gargantuan audacity to claim this when the only person and supporters who do plan to actually establish the tyranny of fascist/dictator rule through the “project 2025” blue-print for such, are the one just elected and his closest sycophants. Read that document—really read it and discover where the actual-factual-real-true plans are for taking away freedoms from whom, and truly understand it is not the government we now have.

Read it and know that the Constitution, which has been the bedrock foundation of law for this nation, seen as the greatest example of government of the people, by the people, and for the people the world has ever known, is designed to be replaced by one ruler making all the decisions with all government agencies staffed with signed loyalty-pledges-to-that-one-ruler-employees, who no longer take an oath of office to that Constitution and NOT a president. And “Christian nationalism” will control curriculum in public schools!

Read it and comprehend that Social Security (65 million), Medicare (67.8 million), Medicaid (93 million), The Affordable Care Act (45 million), and Food Stamps (41 million), actually keeping real people surviving are to be eliminated. I personally know people who will lose their home if Social Security and Medicare are eliminated. I’m sure anyone reading this knows such people. You want to call these programs socialistic, first look up the definition of socialism, then ask the actual people that these programs keep alive what they think. You want these people to just die in the streets?

Where does Jesus teach that revenge/retribution/reprisal is the way to treat any person. NOWHERE! This is what a retired United Methodist Pastor knows.
