Two men were arrested Thursday for allegedly stealing an electric scooter during a Facebook Marketplace transaction, Colorado Springs police said.

On Sunday, two sellers of the e-scooter met with a potential buyer in the 1000 block of North Academy Boulevard to complete a deal made on the social media platform

After arriving, Christian Mills, the potential buyer, pulled out a handgun and robbed the two of the e-scooter, police said. While holding the two at gunpoint, a second man, James Lipsky, appeared to help take the e-scooter away.

Mills and Lipsky were arrested four days later without incident, police said, and the e-scooter was recovered.
