I’m a big fan of the soundtrack to Broadway’s darling, the Tony Award-winning musical “Kimberly Akimbo.” And lucky for us, the touring production is coming to Denver Center for the Performing Arts Sept. 22-Oct. 5. The funny, fraught show follows Kimberly Lavaco, a teen who has a rare condition that causes her body to age faster than others. Tickets are $40-$125; 303-893-4100, denvercenter.org. — Jennifer Mulson, The Gazette
