Colorado Springs weather: Early frost gives way to sunny skies on Wednesday
Wednesday is expected to get off to a frosty start in Colorado Springs, but temperatures should reach the low 70s, according to Gazette news partner KOAA.
“Areas of frost will be possible this morning in northern El Paso County as a frost advisory will remain in effect until 8 a.m.,” Meteorologist Alan Rose said. “We’re also seeing some of our mountains and mountain valleys this morning in the teens, so it is a cold start to our Wednesday across southern Colorado.”
Highs are expected to reach the 70s and lower 80s in the plains, and the 60s in the mountain valleys, Rose said.
“In Colorado Springs, we look to top out near 71 degrees,” he said.
