Colorado Springs Utilities(CSU) reports that a natural gas line was hit this morning around 9:45 a.m. in Manitou Springs.

The line was turned off by 10:09 a.m. Colorado Springs Utilities is on the scene, working on repairing the gas line according to its social media.

Manitou Avenue located between Canon Avenue and Ruxton Avenue were closed until 12:19 p.m. for repairs. The area continues to be a construction zone. CSU asks the public to respect the cone zone, and drive through  the area with caution.
