Before dawn Tuesday, pit crews were working to get race cars ready for the first practice run of The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. These cars were starting at Devil’s Playground and traveling to the summit of Pikes Peak. The cars start at dawn and get as many runs as they can until 8:30 a.m. (JERILEE BENNETT, THE GAZETTE
