A 27-year-old man was killed in a rollover crash early Sunday in eastern El Paso County, the Colorado State Patrol said.

The man, whose name has not been released, was driving south on Highway 24 near Peyton Highway shortly after midnight when he lost control and overcorrected, said State Patrol Cpl. Ivan Alvarado.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle when it rolled, Alvarado said.
