Venue change sought by Dynel Lane, Longmont woman charged with attack on pregnant woman
Dynel Lane, who is accused of attacking a pregnant Longmont woman and cutting the unborn child from her womb, has asked a judge to move her February trial out of Boulder County.
During a hearing in Lane’s case on Tuesday to discuss trial logistics, judges and attorneys referenced the fact that a motion to change venue had been filed by Lane’s lawyers on Monday, which was the deadline for motions to be filed in the case.
The Camera requested a copy of the motion from the 20th Judicial District records office, but hadn’t received it as of press time.
