The Waldo Waldo 5K at America the Beautiful Park on Sunday, October 26, 2014. The Waldo Waldo 5K is a walk and run fundraiser, and the money raised will benefit the Waldo Canyon restoration, disaster relief and recovery, and open space maintenance in the Colorado Springs area. The $35 registration fee included a Waldo or Wenda costume kit with a shirt, hat and glasses. A world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Waldo was attempted today, as more than 2,700 participated in the run last year.
