Effective immediately, Liz Szabo, the Business of Art Center’s curator and gallery manager for the past four years, is no longer working at the BAC. Her shoes will be difficult to fill as she has been a tremendous asset to the BAC in many ways. We wish her great success in her endeavors, especially in getting back to her artwork. The staff and board will begin the process of replacing Liz as soon as possible.

Also, next year will be the BAC’s 25th anniversary, and we are planning a name change to reflect our expanded mission as a multi-purpose, multi-media community center. We will be soliciting suggestions from the public in a contest to run through Dec. 31, 2012. Other details to follow.

The BAC is at 513 and 515 Manitou Ave. in Manitou Springs. Information: 685-1861 or www.thebac.org.
