Flying W Wranglers to perform at Chick-fil-A
Part of Week-long Fundraising Activities for the Flying W Ranch
The legendary singing cowboys are making a special appearance at Chick-fil-A as part of a week-long fundraiser for the Flying W Ranch Foundation. Fans will enjoy a free performance and autographs by the Flying W Wranglers. Chick-fil-A at Garden of the Gods is hosting the event in partnership with Flying W Ranch Foundation to raise funds and awareness about its current needs.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for a performance on the back lawn if weather permits.
The performances will take place in the restaurant with limited seating available if the weather is bad.
Flying W Ranch, a vibrant member of the community for nearly 60 years until it burned in the Waldo Canyon Fire, is now turning to the community for help. Neighboring business Chick-fil-A at Garden of the Gods, which also felt the effects of the fire when forced to close during its peak, is teaming up with Flying W to offer support. Flying W fans will reminisce as they are welcomed in the restaurant lot by the partially burned Flying W sign, along with its old vintage truck.
The week-long fundraising event, October 22-29, continues through Saturday from 11am – 1pm and 5 -8pm with activities and entertainment for all ages including decorating authentic horseshoes that survived the fire, Indian Dancer performances, crafts for kids, face painting, merchandise sales and opportunities to take home Flying W memorabilia.
15% of receipts turned in for the Flying W Ranch all week will go to Flying W Foundation.
WHEN: Friday, October 26, 2012, 5 – 8 pm WHERE: Chick-fil-A at Garden of the Gods, 575 Garden of the Gods Rd
