Judge dismisses restraining orders against D-49 school board president’s husband
Restraining orders were dropped against the husband of the Falcon School District 49 school board president when the parties involved failed to appear at recent hearings. For a brief time, Tom Harold was barred from the school district’s central offices when a temporary restraining order was filed in June by D-49 school board Secretary Charles Irons. Board member Christopher Wright filed more than a week later. Both complaints stemmed from arguments in June after an extremely short school board meeting. The cases were dismissed by a judge on June 29 and July 12 when neither Irons nor Wright attended the hearings set to make the restraining orders permanent.Harold helped lead a recall effort in D-49 several years ago. He and D-49 school board President Tammy Harold are separated.
