Northern El Paso County home burglarized, truck stolen: Sheriff’s Office

Authorities are searching for two suspects they believe burglarized a Monument home Aug. 22 before driving off in a vehicle they stole from the home.

An eyewitness told the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office they saw the two individuals, a man and woman, attempt to open doors and windows at the home, located in the 17900 block of Red Rocks Drive, according to a Thursday news release from the office.

The witness said the suspects were in and out fast, taking off in a red 2001 Toyota Tundra parked in the driveway. The vehicle’s license plate number is 740YTI, the Sheriff’s Office said.
